And that makes us mighty

If you know me you know I am a massive Firefly fan. When I learned Firefly had been prematurely cancelled I almost cried, had I not been a beard wearing burley man at the time I might have. Then along came Serenity, the phoenix to rise from the ashes, I mean seriously how many shows do you know that got cancelled half way through it’s first season get a movie? It’s totally unprecedented and delighted me to know that was going to get closure. And what we got was an amazing sci-fi movie, not the best but definitly the best of recent times, I have no qaulms placing it up there with Aliens, Wrath of Kahn and Terminator.

What’s made my day is that I learned of a documentary created by fans for the fans titled “Done the Impossible.” It’s gone gold and is ready to ship, very soon, like within days soon. I am excited, it is packed full of content, including an 80 minute documentary, 5 hours of bonus video, searchable scripts, a ‘verse dictionary, an interactive timeline, commentary, the full 9 yards, shiney.

Done the impossible is going to be shown at this year’s comic con, which is set for July 20th. Comic con takes place in San Diego and the crew are going to be taking a few hundred copies with them there, as well the pre-orders should start shipping before it takes place. I am so tempted to go to San Diego on the very minisucle chance of obtaining a copy.

The new site looks great! I wanted to comment on firefly/serenity. I had only seen one episode of Firefly, which piqued my curiosity, but after failing to see it again I had totally forgotten about it. I just got a HD box for my TV, and I seen Serenty playing on the movie channel. Wow, this movie blew me away and I haven’t even heard about it. The FX looked great, the actors were fun and had a great sense of sarcastic humour. Certainly made that bomb I watched earlier, ‘Ultraviolet’ look like a mess in the toilet. Cheers!

We did not invent the algorithm. The algorithm killed Jeeves. The algorithm constantly finds Jesus. This is not the algorithm. This is close.
